Children with brain tumours often spend weeks in hospital. Sometimes they make daily visits for treatment, just to wake up and find that the craft activities in the playroom have finished for the day.
Did you know that that craft activities in many playrooms are not available after 5pm or at weekends?
Even where facilities are available, children are sometimes too sick to make the short journey to the playroom.
With the help of a grant from Children in Need, we have been able to make a difference to these children and their families, with mobile activity trolleys. Each trolley is full of activities to keep children from 3 years to teens, distracted for hours and bring a smile their faces and those of their families.
