Our team of volunteers for the Leeds; Rachel Barron Vice-Chair, Emma Blackburn, Matthew Fassihi, Sarah McCormack Chair, and Sarah Robertshaw held their first official meeting on 27.03.12 what a lovely bunch they are, sadly Emma couldn’t make it but hopefully will be at next meeting.
This wonderful team of volunteers are doing a fab job raising funds to support two Hospitals, Leeds General Infirmary, who have Sensory and Activity trolleys and St. James Hospital which has an Activity trolley. Matthew and Sarah have previously visited Leeds General Infirmary and Rachel has visited both recently with refills items for the trolleys.
Our Leeds team have decided to set themselves a fundraising target for 2012 of £2,500.00 a very high target, especially in these current difficult times. They have lots of ideas on how to raise these funds and we wish them all the best. Please watch this space for news on what they will be getting up to, you could take part and help them on their way to reaching that target.
