Update – April 2021 – Funds raised so far are £3,000.00 well done Alison, this is a great effort especially during the past months restrictions. Clowns in the Sky are blessed to have such dedicated supporters.
Ladies Captain for October 2020 to October 2021 Alison Davies has chosen Clowns in the Sky for her charity to support.
Alison said “As soon as I was asked if I would put myself forward as the Ladies Captain for 20/21 I knew I wanted Clowns in the Sky to be my charity for the year and I was delighted that Alan Longhurst, the Men’s Captain agreed.
Lynn joined Adem Ltd, the company run by my husband and I in 2004, staying with us until we retired in 2014. As well as being an employee Lynn has become a friend who I admire greatly. Lynn’s evenings and weekends were and still are dedicated to Clowns. The charity is an important part of her life, but as our employee she gave above and beyond what was expected. I cannot think of a better way to say thank you to Lynn. I know that Clowns makes a huge difference to what is an unbearable time for both the children and parents and it is a pleasure to be involved, particularly at a time when the resources they provide are needed more than ever, as playrooms are closed due to COVID.
