If you were ever in any doubt about the difference one person can make in supporting a charity, wondering what you could achieve, possibly thinking, “I’m just one person”, take a look at what Sheila Gwyther has managed in the past year.
In her spare time Sheila makes, cards, jewellery, jams and craft items which she then sells at various groups; Serica Court, Blackheath, Anchor Housing, Sidcup & Bexleyheath Group, pictured below at their Easter Fair, Tudor Grange, Blackheath and Kumon UK, Charlton to mention just a few.
Sheila Promotes Clowns in the Sky, raising awareness of the support we give to children and their families, she encourages others to support us at the many sponsored events we hold and she is always available as an extra pair of hands to help in anyway she can, all this whilst working herself, not bad for a pensioner !
In the last year her efforts have raised the very impressive sum of £2,757.00
I know that Jennifer would be looking down on her Nanny with one of her biggest smiles, knowing what a difference she is making in supporting Clowns in the Sky and all the children that follow in her footsteps.
